Act as a true brand ambassador for our Fortune 100 client by driving integrated marketing and sales initiatives. Support all aspects of the client's Merchandise Program including design, development, marketing and sales for both Online and Retail environments. This position requires a creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong interpersonal skills.
 
The Merchandise Manager will be located onsite and working closely with both our firm and our client's teams. A typical day might include sourcing new merchandise, reviewing decorations, distributing merchandise, planning events, assessing onsite workflows; building demand curves for sales, learning about decoration techniques and researching about anything that could carry our client's logo.

In this role, the Merchandise Manager will support our client's Sr. Corporate Brand Marketing Manager in the following way:

Assist with the company-wide Branded Merchandise Program; includes acting as liaison for our merchandise Agency, strategic program leadership, program financial management; all program marketing & advertising, and ongoing program growth and expansion

- Leading integrated cross-functional teams to support key Branding initiatives

- Coordinating the development of integrated marketing & advertising campaigns; lead the creative development process with shared management of multiple agencies, ensuring collaboration; manage the creative agencies to produce successful marketing & advertising executions to achieve marketing objectives across all tactics

- Budget management, reconciliation and reporting for owned programs

- Development of operational objectives and work plans through strong project management
 
Qualifications for Marketing Manager:

- Bachelors of Arts degree or Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Requires 3 years of progressive experience in business, ideally in marketing, advertising or related communications area; experience with multimedia tactics; direct marketing, mass and digital; social, event activation encouraged

- Experience in Brand Management, Brand Merchandise or Promotional Products preferred

- Prefer previous experience in marketing/advertising agencies, retail web stores; e-commerce and/or retail sales

- Superior project management skills (a true multi-tasker) with a love to manage detail

- Strong personality, go-getter, desire to perform and advance, outgoing

- Excellent written and verbal communicator

- Personable and approachable; ability to participate in and lead cross-functional work teams
