Account Executive

The Account Executive is a motivated self-starter with a desire to exceed client expectations through best-in-class service while maintaining a strong focus on company revenue targets. This individual has the ability to manage internal and external team towards a common objective and deliver client results. They partner with the account team to manage client accounts, create client estimates and project planning and exceed expectation. They are energetic and dynamic with strong relationship building and multitasking skills. The account manager is flexible and adaptable with exceptional communication skills and a rigid focus on growing existing accounts.
 
Reports to:
  • Account Director
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage successful day to day client relations
  • Proactively meet with clients to discuss current and future projects
  • Strategize product costs based on client history and product knowledge
  • Manage internal teams towards the client’s objectives – timeline, budget, quality
  • Gather specifications and request estimates from vendors
  • Provide variety and creative product options for requests
  • Prepare quotes in Excel or PowerPoint with appropriate mark up
  • Follow up accordingly to aid in closing sales
  • Maintain clean efficient records for reporting, provide tracking to Account Director on weekly basis
  • Verify proofs and pre-production samples are accurate and send to customer for approval
  • Aid in Special projects such as RFP preparation as requested
  • Provide accurate quarterly sales projections
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ESP, SAGE, Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
  • Creative marketing and problem-solving skills
  • Proven client relations/ building experience
  • College or University degree in related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in promotional products sales
  • Proven track records in sales capacity
